Three top managers at Alfa – Alexey Giyazov, Vladimir Verkhoshinskiy, and Vadim Zingman – have earned recognition for outstanding professionalism in their field, according to the Russian Managers Association.

The Top 1000 Russian Managers is a prestigious independent award that was established in 2001. Award winners are chosen by their peers – market representatives from relevant fields. For instance, financiers determine the winners among financial sector nominees.

Alexey Giyazov, Director of Marketing, Design, and Customer Engagement at Alfa-Bank, has been named one of the top 100 marketing directors in the 2023 Awards. He ranks first among marketing directors in commercial banks. This is the third award for Mr. Giyazov: market representatives already recognized him as the best in the banking sector in 2020 and 2022.

Alfa-Bank CEO Vladimir Verkhoshinskiy and Alfa Group President Vadim Zingman were included in Russia’s top 250 executives. Mr. Zingman was recognized in the Multi-Industry Groups category, and Mr. Verkhoshinskiy won first prize in the Commercial Banking category.

For Mr. Zingman, the award was his third. He previously received it in 2020 and 2022. Mr. Verkhoshinskiy has held the title of Russia’s best bank CEO for five years running since 2019.
